That's it. I've lost it. I've gone completely nuts.
I've decided to quit working with "raw AS3" and try using Flixel again.

The cosine motion reminded me of Fantasia's Night on Bald Mountain, so once I get around to adding sounds, I'm going to use a remix or abridged version of the song as the bgm. My highscore is 540 with this version. I'll add more enemies too.
This is just practice, of course. My big ambition is to make better version of Roguette with the help of Flixel's tilemap systems. I also need the interface and animations of course, but hopefully Flixel will have something for that too.
Of course, this means that Fortress of Fantasm is indefinitely stalled. I don't know if I'll port it to Flixel or finish it in raw AS3 once my bitter hatred wears off, but since I have a lot of good graphics already done, I'll be sure to come back to it at some point.
