[Ship Blaster]

Try Harder

See, this is why the internet is practically made of graphics you could have put into a game like this. There's also this forum thing where you can ask people to draw stuff for you. It is actually sort of fun, but it looks like something a kindergärtner would put on the fridge. Fix that, and you're on your way.

For the gameplay, I'd suggest adding more guns, such as side lasers or missiles or flame throwers or whatever when you do it again.

yeah i figured the graphics would be crappy...this was more of a learning exercise for actionscript.
so the graphics are less than many would appreciate...but that will be the first thing i do when i make a number 2 for this game!

Big Disappointment

The cool graphics make me want a cool game, but it's just a dodger and a pretty clunky one at that. When I play a game like this, I want to play something that keeps me on my toes and stresses my reflexes, but the slow reaction to mouse movement and preset level make it just a memorization game.

I feel like I've seen that girl before somewhere... maybe ...

I adjusted the ship to follow the mouse at a certain speed where it wasn't too fast/easy, but not too sluggish and I think I got to where it felt right.. so it might be a performance issue causing it to be slow on your system, or maybe you'd prefer the ship followed the mouse 1:1, but I'm glad you liked the graphics at least, thanks!

Awesome shooter

Just the right difficulty and length for a Flash game. Girls could have looked better, but it's all right.

Deathworm killed it

This would be very very fun if I hadn't played Deathworm first, but Worm Land just doesn't match up. The graphics and power ups are nice, but the ground is so small and the worm is so hard to steer. It's like I'm having more of a fight with the worm than with the Empire.

Gimmick Game

For a gimmick game, it's all right, but deep down, I really don't like these kinds of puzzle games that pretend to be an actually fun genre. If we're going to shoot things, just let me shoot things. If we're going to play puzzles, just show me the door. I don't want to do both.

It's nice and intense, but very clunky feeling. There were also a lot of errors popping up.

Really, as a game it's so-so, but the fact that you made something so cool out of this genre is to be admired. Mega-kudos for making such a playable version of the section-off game.

Usually I dislike platformers, but this is really cool. It's very nice looking and challenging without being a pain in the ass. There are a lot of cool and innovative functions here.

Raiden + Healthbar is really all you need to need to make a terrific game. It is cheating just a little bit though.
